This Celtic Trinity knot has 3 everlasting knots, otherwise known as a Triquetra design, which to the ancient Celts represented the entire universe - the circle of life, death and rebirth. Later the Early Christians adopted the symbol to represent the Holy Trinity, with the 3 knots representing the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Triquetra design of this pendant, with a circle interwoven into the 3 knots, has been made even more popular by the TV show "Charmed", where it appeared on the front of their spell book.
