This triangular Celtic pendant is referred to as the Trinity Fish. The Fish is an early Christian symbol which has been incorporated into the Celtic Triquetra symbol. The Triquetra is said to represent the three planes of existence - physical, mental and spiritual and when incorporating the Christian fish symbol is thought to represent Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is a later version of the Triquetra - after Christianity was brought to Europe. The fish is a Christian symbol and in the shape of the Triquetra this symbolises the connection between the three planes of existence.
